Tara is an Iranian-American singer, theater artist, and composer and has lived in Budapest for two years. Since the war in Ukraine began, she has found small ways to support the Ukrainian community in Budapest through music classes, organizing, and building awareness. Fernanda Rachi Silva, 39 years old, Brazilian, mother, artist, and cook. She has lived in Hungary for 15 years, working mainly through Brazilian culture. Today, she is a supporter of minority causes through the HUR Hungary campaign; she coordinates a collective of humanitarian support individuals.

Alma, a Nigerian-born professional soccer player who fled the war in Ukraine, and Edvin, a Croatian-American exile who pioneered live webcam shows with his wife before Onlyfans became a thing, share a conversation with Willie, who met Alma by chance at the Ukrainian border. The two are now inseparable friends and roommates, supporting each other through thick and thin while being documented by an HBO Europe crew, making a film about the Croatian and his Wife since 2017.
